Luc Morlet Winemaker

In collaboration with acclaimed winemaker Luc Morlet, Linked Vineyards unites generations of winemaking heritage with a shared pursuit of precision, site expression, and uncompromising quality.

The experience of four generations of winegrowers was passed on to Luc Morlet at a very young age, growing up immersed in the vineyards and cellars of his family’s estate in Avenay-Val-d’Or, Champagne. From the beginning, his understanding of wine was shaped not only by tradition, but by participation, learning firsthand that great wine is guided long before it reaches the cellar.

Not one to rest comfortably in legacy alone, Luc expanded upon that foundation through rigorous academic and hands-on training. He earned a Viticulture degree from Ecole Viticole de Champagne, a Master’s in Enology from the University of Reims, and an MBA in Wine Business from Dijon Business School in Burgundy. Along the way, internships in both Bordeaux and Burgundy allowed him to further refine his perspective, blending classical European discipline with a growing sense of personal style.

Today, his approach remains deeply rooted in the Morlet family philosophy of “Passion, Terroir and Savoir-faire.” The passion is unmistakable in his tireless energy and unwavering focus. His commitment to terroir is reflected in his pursuit of exceptional vineyard sites and his respect for their individual expression. And his savoir-faire, or instinct for doing the right and graceful thing, is evident in a non-interventionist philosophy that favors restraint, precision, and time-honored methods over manipulation.

At Linked Vineyards, that philosophy finds a natural and seamless home. Working closely with our fruit and our vision, Luc guides each vintage with a meticulous and thoughtful hand, allowing the character of the vineyard to emerge with clarity while elevating its most compelling qualities. His influence is not about imprinting style, but about revealing what is already there, with intention and care.

The result is a collection of wines that balance richness with restraint, power with elegance. They are layered, expressive, and quietly complex, unfolding over time and rewarding patience. Each vintage captures both the intensity of the growing season and the nuance of place, reflecting a shared belief that great wine is not made, but revealed through thoughtful farming, precise decisions, and an uncompromising pursuit of excellence.

This partnership is grounded in alignment, a respect for heritage, a commitment to craftsmanship, and a belief that the most compelling wines are those that connect people, place, and time in a meaningful way.

"Great wine begins with exceptional fruit, but it is the quiet decisions along the way that define its soul. With Linked Vineyards, we have the rare opportunity to honor both."
